Spigen Launches Retro-Inspired AirPods Pro 3 Case Echoing Classic Macintosh Design

Accessory manufacturer Spigen has unveiled a nostalgic new case for Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 that pays homage to the original Macintosh mouse. The Classic LS AirPods Pro 3 Case mirrors the iconic beige-and-gray color scheme of the 1984-era peripheral, complete with a tactile button that doubles as a secure locking mechanism. The case retails for $25 on Amazon and is designed to pair seamlessly with Spigen’s existing lineup of Mac-themed iPhone cases.

The dual-material construction combines a polycarbonate interior with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) exterior to protect the earbuds while maintaining a lightweight profile. A lanyard attachment offers portability for users on the move. To access the AirPods, users press the mouse-style button, which causes the top of the case to swing open. Wireless charging remains functional with the case installed, and a cutout accommodates USB-C wired connections. A subtle LED indicator shines through the case’s surface, evoking the original mouse’s power light.

Spigen also introduced the Classic LS MagFit Card Holder, inspired by the Macintosh 128K and priced at $30. Featuring a floppy disk accent, vintage keyboard typography, and a “Hello” engraving, the accessory includes a strong magnet for MagSafe compatibility. It can hold up to three cards and is compatible with all MagSafe-enabled iPhones from the iPhone 12 onward. The Classic LS series now spans cases for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, a lanyard, and the new card holder, rounding out Spigen’s retro-themed collection.

Spigen’s latest offerings reflect a growing trend in consumer tech accessories that blend nostalgia with modern functionality, tapping into the enduring appeal of Apple’s design heritage.
